We’ve achieved our Bronze Rights Respecting Schools Award!

Our rights are really important and at Branston Locks, we believe that children should not only learn about their rights as agreed in the UNCRC, but also understand and promote them.  In committing ourselves to the Rights of the Child, we have created an action plan to help us do this.  Our school values are: Respect, Kindness, Inclusion, Responsibility, Never Giving Up and Aspiration. These are all values which are underpinned by the Right of the Child. In school, we will be learning about each of the rights and what it means for us and our world. Now we are working on our action plan so that we can achieve our silver award soon.  If you’d like to know more, you can find out about the Rights Respecting Schools award here: The Rights Respecting Schools Award | UNICEF UK
