The children in Reception had a special visitor on Wednesday 7th May. We welcomed Spud Man to Branston Locks Primary and Nursery School as he delivered an incredible donation of potatoes, compost and growing bags. The children are really looking forward to growing their own produce and we will keep everyone updated on how well they are growing. We are having a ‘Stay and Plant’ session in school on Wednesday 21st May and all our parents and carers are invited to come along with their trowels and gardening gloves to get stuck in!

Branston Locks Primary and Nursery School is closed today (Friday 9th January) due to the adverse weather conditions.
Having assessed the site and the local area and observed advice from the met office, we have made this decision to ensure the safety of all staff, pupils and families.
Children should spend the day exploring the snow and enjoying it! Then, once they are warm they can practise their spellings, read their reading books and play Numbots.
We look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Monday 12th January.

We have officially launched Numbots at Branston Locks this week. We love playing the game to help practise our Maths fluency and help Rusty upgrade!
